Brett Favre, John Madden's man crush, has gone into the tunnel, and isn't coming back onto the field.
He won a Super Bowl for the Green Bay Packers and three MVPs titles. He set every record worth having for a quarterback in the NFL — 5,377 career completions in 8,758 attempts, with 61,655 yards passing and 442 touchdowns, and the most career victories by a starting quarterback. Plus he has 253 straight regular-season starts.
And now he's retired.
I became fond of The Pack back in '97 and they were my team of chioce on the Playstation Madden '99. Many victories were had at computer-Brett's stead. Oh, and he dated Mary before Ted.
