David Lee Roth will make another go of Van Halen, as a 50-show tour will be announced next week.Jump-kicking Diamond Dave will join brothers Eddie and Alex Van Halen, and Eddie's son Wolfgang who fills in for bassist Michael Anthony.
This marks the 74th reunion of Van Halen, which I expect will continue to shuffle members until somebody dies or there are enough children to replace the original line-up. No comments have been made by Sammy Hagar or Anthony, but like the other 73 times the band reunited, they are likely waiting for the wheels to come off and everybody to go storming off in a different direction.
Just curious, but does anybody remember when an announcement was the announcement? Now people announce they're making announcements. That's just good marketing.
PS. I can't tell which one is Roth and which is Ashlee Simpson.
