New England Patriots defensive back Willie Andrews pleaded not guilty to drug possession hours after authorities said they found him with a half-pound of marijuana.19-0 would have demanded a big party...it's understandable.
Andrews was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and driving an unregistered motor vehicle. Prosecutors said he had $6,800 in cash, three bags of marijuana, and no means to smoke the drugs. What, just because you aren't driving around with a six foot Graphix bong doesn't mean you're not headed somewhere to smoke the hell outta some herb.
According to authorities, an anonymous caller reported possible drug activity, and when police pulled over the car and approached it, they smelled a strong odor believed to be marijuana. Could the anonymous caller have been a Giants fan? And thus far, no comment out of Ricky Williams...
