Pink and motocross racer Carey Hart have separated after two years of wedded bliss. This does not bode well for the state of same sex marriage.
"This decision was made by best friends with a huge amount of love and respect for one another," said Pink's representative. "While the marriage is over, their friendship has never been stronger." And isn't that why you get married in the first place? So that you can have a stronger friendship if the love and commitment thing fails.
Pink, whose real name is Alecia Moore (that's a weird name for a guy), met Hart at the 2001 X Games and proposed to him four years later during a race in Mammoth, Calif. They were married January 2006.
Pink, 28, won a Grammy for best female (huh?) rock (double huh?) vocal performance for the song "Trouble" in 2003. Other "hits" include "Get the Party Started," "Stupid Girls" and "Don't Let Me Get Me." Hart rides a motorbike and goes off jumps!
Jeez, if these two can't make it, what chance do the rest of us have at love?
