We're All Shocked (Not Really)

The Chief Medical Examiner for the City of New York has concluded his report on the death of Heath Ledger, and (surprise) determined the actor died after overdosing on prescription drugs.

"Mr. Heath Ledger died as the result of acute intoxication by the combined effects of oxycodone, hydrocodone, diazepam, temazepam, alprazolam, and doxylamine. We have concluded that the manner of death is accident, resulting from the abuse of prescription medications."
For those without their pharmacopia, the names don't mean much, but besides oxycodone, hydrocodone is better known as vicodin, diazepam is valium, temazepam is a hypnoytic sedative, alprazolam is xanax, and doxylamine is another sedative. Calling it an "accidental overdose" is like calling Vietnam a pleasant stroll in the jungle. Only members of the Grateful Dead, Keith Richards, and Pete Doherty are allowed to handle those amounts of pills.
