Jett Diedd

John Travolta's teenage son, Jett, died in the Bahamas after supposedly falling ill and hitting his head at his family's vacation home, police said. A house caretaker found Jett (16) unconscious in a bathroom late this morning. The teenager had last been seen going into the bathroom on Thursday and had a history of seizures, according to the statement. Police said they are planning an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

Jett was the oldest of two children for Travolta and Kelly Preston. He was not often in the media spotlight, likely due to Kawasaki Syndrome...or so his family would have you believe. Scientologists (like Preston and Travolta), don't believe in psychiatric medicine, and to have a child with autism, well, that would be bad. Like Travolta gay rumors, there is an annual blooming of the tale, as a story from last year repeats the downplaying hiding of Jett's autism.

What's the real story? It will eventually come out, but not for a long time, since Scientologists are notoriously controlling of anything negative (and usually true) about them. And it would be yet another shame to see children not getting treatment for their troubles because their parents believe in space aliens.
