MAGNA-ificent Weekend

What else can I say except: MAGNA at C.I.A. tonight - that's a good start to a weekend. Everybody go.

UPDATE: Can a band who last performed in February still bring the goods after being couped up in the rehearsal studio writing new material? Shit yes!

In the sweltering 106 degree North Hollywood heat, the band rocked off a tight 35 minute set. Some tunes had not been played in a while (Solstice, Jem), while others were on their first or second play publicly (Boutros, The Shaming March). There were a good number of newbies to MAGNA, and the psycho-carnival atmosphere of C.I.A. was the perfect way to catch the band. If I had to tell ya, you should have been there...

Vids/pics or it didn't happen. No, seriously, where's the pics? Not this one from what looks like my raver days.

Yes, that was from the old days...everybody was too busy getting rocked to snap a picture or document it properly. Dan's recording is allegedly okay, perhaps near rehearsal quality - we'll see. Otherwise, only your own memories of a damn good show...
