Both companies are celebrating free items to encourage you to come back and pay for their foods at regular price. And add a few items to that order.
Dunkin' Donuts offers their 2nd annual Free Iced Coffee Day by giving you a free 16 oz. iced coffee of your choice today. They expect to give away more than 4 million cups of iced coffee today - their offer lasts from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. (so you can get multiple caffeine hits throughout the day).
The golden arches are giving away free chicken sandwiches - two in fact: the Southern Style Chicken Biscuit for breakfast and the Southern Style Chicken Sandwich for lunch and dinner. If you visit McDonald's between 7:00 and 10:30 a.m. today, you can get a free Southern Style chicken biscuit with the purchase of a medium or large drink. And if you miss breakfast, you can still get a free Southern Style chicken sandwich (which comes garnished with two pickles - nasty) until 7 p.m.
