From the gratuitous self promotion department, next weekend Sept. 12, MAGNA is going to be performing FREE at Pasadena Rehearsal Studios to participate in their 5th anniversary celebration.

Starting around 5pm, there will be bands performing, and MAGNA hits the stage around 9pm. It is totally free, and since it is a studio and not a bar, you can BYOB. There will be some free chow on the grill when it starts, but it will be limited, and a small donation would be a nice gesture.

Alan is a pal of the band, and also put together the Rose City Rocks festival a few months back MAGNA participated in, and we are frequent visitors to PRS. It's a great facility if you're a musician looking to practice or record, and we're more than happy to play and support a business that's been supportive of us.

Even if you're just a fan and not a player, please come down and check out where we work on material (and sometimes film videos).

There will be some new tunes peppering our set, and copies of our CD and EP in case you've already worn yours out. We are working on our next album right now, so this may be one of the few opportunities to catch us live until the studio work is complete. And it's FREE!
