
But what really stands out for the day was a lunch stroll into the Grand Market with a half dozen other jurors. Goddamn if I didn't get one of the tastiest burritos the size of a small child for a few bucks. And then topped it off with a fresh chocolate eclair.
Otherwise, the wheels are turning quicker, and there was some sidebar where the judge spoke to the counsellors and must have lit a legal fire under their asses (defense especially), because there's far less bullshit and more law. Switching the time around tomorrow and doing more of a morning session than an afternoon one, but as long as there's progress, I'm happy.
