" I Work For Keyser Soze. He Feels You Owe Him"

Did Inception just get a little more mindbending with the foreshadowed demise of Maurice Fischer? Pete Postlethwaite, who Tyler Durden said made a career of looking 64 for the past 20 years, passed yesterday from cancer.

A distinguished character actor, Postlethwaite was easily identifiable by his looks, but always had depth and presence that exceeded his recognition. Try and say that about other "hey, it's that guy" actors like Danny Trejo or Al Leong! Steven Spielberg, who directed Postlethwaite twice, said he was "probably the best actor in the world."

Earning a best supporting actor Oscar nod for In the Name of the Father, he was most recently in The Town, but was also in The Last of the Mohicans, Amistad, and Romeo + Juliet . As per the headline, one of my favorite roles (and movies for that matter) was in The Usual Suspects.

It's terrible that Ashton Kutcher is healthy as an ox, and Hollywood is without Pete Postlethwaite.

UPDATE: The trifecta is complete with Anne Francis and Bill Erwin. What, you thought it was going to be Zsa Zsa? She's just falling apart piece by piece.
